With a large program of Water projects on the horizon it couldn’t be a better time to join our team in Wellington. We have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join the team to provide proactive project management support on a number of exciting projects within the region.

Our team is currently working on numerous water, stormwater and wastewater infrastructure projects. We have a solid client base in Wellington and we are well connected to many other locations through our established relationships, expertise in project funding, technical capabilities, and broad company reach. We are actively growing our team and developing technical capabilities by expanding our services and creating great leadership and career building opportunities for our employees.

You will be joining a team of passionate individuals, many of them leaders in their field, who are also the owners of our business. This ownership is what sets us apart.

Working within our experienced Water group, this position offers a great variety of projects and will see you involved in

  • Managing and delivering a range of complex projects or programs across the group and across New Zealand
  • Liaising with and management of relevant stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
  • Building client relationships and conducting business development activities, including preparation of proposals and bids
  • Working closely with small and large project teams and contractor groups to ensure project requirements are met
  • Opportunities to develop project management/project director, and people management skills

 What you will bring to the team

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (BE Civil or related), PMI or PRINCE2 certification & proven experience setting up complex project teams to deliver successful outcomes
  • 3 years+ experience managing projects
  • Understanding of project governance structures and risk management
